WE know this isn't Janets hair but..... for this to be done in 1988, WE Say BRAVO! Solange has been sporting her natural hair for about 2-3yrs now and is rocking it just as much as she'll rock the party. Beyonce'(lacefront?) sported her look for a private show @ NewYork Fall Fashion Week while hitting the runway during a private showing for TOM FORD! Str8t isn't always best for these ladies, and from the looks of things....... I couldn't agree more! I also recommend Mixed Chicks for all of your Curly needs!!!! peace!;-)

What do you pick, Chocolate Brown or Sunny Blonde? Which ever you choose, they always look better cascading over the hood of a car!!!!!!!!! To get this Ocean Wave look, just blow dry your hair and use the curling wand to curl the hair in 6 sections. After, pin curl hair and get dressed. Let down, shake, and go! Gotta love Fun, Quick, Glamour!!!! 

Me personally......... I'll take the car! LOL!

Locks of Love <3!!!!!!!!
I had the pleasure of cutting my clients hair for the Locks of Love Foundation the other day and I must say, starting my day like that was AMAAAAZZING! Locks of Love is a Non-profit Organization that provides Prosthetic Wigs for children who suffer from long-term hair lose through donations of hair from people like You and I! Your hair needs to be at least 10" long and cut off in a ponytail. Hair that has been colored may not be used due to the chemical process for manufacturing. Hair is such a big part of our outer image and to help build a child's self-esteem is priceless. I myself have been working on a project, I take a percentage of every extension service I provide and use it toward  Lace-front Wig Units being made to donate to Children suffering from hair lose due to Cancer Treatment. It was great to help someone else donate what they could as well! All smiles over here and a  <3 full of gratitude! Here are some pics of the process! Hope you enjoy! peace;-)

What Life Is Made Of!

Soooooooo, 1st, Eid Mubarak to all of the Muslims! I ddn't post on Friday because it was a Holiday for me! But, what I did do, was attend Fashion Night Out in NewYork with some of my friends New and Old! I've found so much inspiration this September that its almost to much to handle. From Ponytails(LV) to Bleached Beach Blondes(D&G), I am just Luuuuuuuuuuuuving what I do!!!!! I don't have any tips for today but I have a couple of pics that I hope you'll enjoy! UUUUMMMMWWWAAH!

Coming from Baltimore, I could really appreciate this look, for we are known to sport a fifties look. We have a fair every year for it called the Hun Fest! And with the invention of the Boppit, this look was bound to walk the runway sooner than later! All you need is a head band, boppit (as seen on TV), and a vent brush. This London look will surely invade America this Winter, mark my word Hun!;-*

With so many loooks to choose from this Season, we will sometimes get tired, so this easy going but Oh So Sophisticated look will do the trick! You can be at the office with your suite on, or party all night and not worry about a thang!!!!!

TOOLS YOU'LL USE:
TO achieve this look all you need is a Ponytail Holder (NO RUBBER BANDS!!!!), Vent Brush, and Alterna Sheer Pomade for edges. If your hair is short, You can  achieve the look by parting your hair and using Bobby Pins to hold it down on the side kinda like a Barrett. Please be gentle when brushing hair, always start from the bottom and work your way up the hair shaft. 
NOTE: A toothbrush is always a good way to lay those edges down.
