When in doubt, wear RED!!!!!!-Bill Blast

Courtesy of www.fashionbombdaily.com/www.rihannadaily.com
A lot of us wondered where and why Mrs. Ri-Ri went this stark RED! But when Trendsetting is what you do, You rarely have an answer except, it's what I felt at the time!!! The truth is, it's this imaginary wave of energy in the world that puts like minds on the same page. While Rihanna was going RED, so where the models walking down John Galliano's Runway, and the girl in Step-Up 3 (the dance movie;-) ). But with all that said...... there is a right way to achieve this style so, here's Tools You Use:
ALWAYS SEE A PROFESSIONAL FOR CHEMICAL SERVICES!!!!!! LOL, I know you were expecting an actual product but the best thing I can do for you guys is promote healthy hair practices. This look is Great, but please don't do it yourself. Keep it radiant with a color stay shampoo, and make sure you get your hair treated and trimmed every 4-6 or 6-8 weeks!!!!!! Hope you guys have fun!!!!!!!! peace;-)

Longing for this Look!!!!!!!!!!!
Courtesy of essencemagazine.com
Who says Short Hair can't be just as GLAM!!!!!!!!!!! Mrs. Nia Long usually gives us short and funky but here she shows us how a medium Bob can be  spruced up!  Adding big curls to this cut was pure genius and made Mrs. Long, "Red Carpet Ready"!!!!!!!!! To get this fashion forward tooootaallly Fab Look here's The Tools You Use:
You will need a large barrel curling iron(50cent piece size)  and bobby pins. You can also achieve this look if you have length. Curl the hair in tight spiral curls all over and then finger and place, pin in some areas as needed. You could go for this look for the New Year as well!!!!!!!

If your hair is curly, wash and condition with Curly Pudding shampoo & conditioner. This product makes your Tresses soft and manageable.

If your hair is straight, I recommend Twist Setting it with Paul Mitchell foaming Pomade and sitting under a hood dryer for 60-1hr 20mins. Then taking the set out and fingering!

We all want to be In Love with our hair, and what better way to do so then Tying The Knot!!!! With the 50's -60's Glam running up and down the Runways and Magazines, it's only right that we learn how to get this look quickly and efficient as possible. Soooooo here we go!!!
Tools You Use:
A hair tie is needed to secure ponytail if hair is long. Note: style can be done on short and long hair.
Bobby Pins, Holding Spray, Rat Tail Comb, and Brush
Long Hair Rules:
Part hair in 2 sections (mohawk middle and then sides and back)
Burrell Curl or Pin Curl Mohawk section away from face and secure with pins.
Secure back with Ponytail holder (no rubber bands) and braid tightly. Secure end of braid w/ band and then take fingers and separate braid to make messy. Follow by wrapping braid around and pinning in a bun. Mold perimeter of hairline with pomade for control and shine, spray holding spray and GET READY FOR THE POPARAZZI!!!!!!
Short Hair Rules:
Comb Back of hair down, part like long hair and only follow Mohawk rules.

Tools You Use:
To achieve this look, I recommend a Waving Wand. You can also use a light holding spray to help keep the formation of the curl during the day. Pincurl, Flexirod, or put hair in two buns to maintain this look during the week! Please remember....Not to much HEAT!!!!!!!!!

Don't Call It A Come Back, BLONDES THE NEW BLACK!!!!!!
From Lady GaGa to Mary J. Blidge, Blonde has surly been flowing through these Tresses a lot lately! The key to this look, is to  PLEEEEEEAASSE SEE A COLORIST!  Yes girls, I know you can go to the local hair store and buy some bleach, but we want to have Healthy Hair Practices!!!!!! Not always going to see the stylist after you've played Quanita Bump n Curl or Candie the Colorist!!!! It's always best to maintain the color with Color Stay Shampoo's and not to use a lot of  Heat! If you have wash and go hair please always use a moisturizing conditioner, even if you have oily hair, for the color can dry your hair out. This look isn't for everyone and it's great to add depth by having more than one shade of blonde for a more Polished Look.
Tools TO Use:
I recommend ARTec Color Shampoo

I can Wait to get the feedback and remember, always seek professional help when dealing with chemicals!

Natural or Nothin'
Bodywaves or KinkyQ's, its nothing better than seeing people except texture. (even if it isn't yours!lol) To look natural is the key! WE know this isn't Janets hair but..... for this to be done in 1988, WE Say BRAVO! Solange has been sporting her natural hair for about 2-3yrs now and is rocking it just as much as she'll rock the party. Beyonce'(lacefront?) sported her look for a private show @ NewYork Fall Fashion Week while hitting the runway during a private showing for TOM FORD! Str8t isn't always best for these ladies, and from the looks of things....... I couldn't agree more! I also recommend Mixed Chicks for all of your Curly needs!!!! peace!;-)

Thank Heaven 4 LAVIN!
Even covered up, this Style Icon gives us amazing looks. If you do this look which is all the rage right now, make sure that your edges (perimeter of your hairline) are smoothed down so you  have a polished finish. I recommend Alterna Hemp Sheer Pomade. A little goes a long way! Hope You Gorge Gals have fun while being a Modest Fashionista!!!!!!!!!!!!! peace:-)

What do you pick, Chocolate Brown or Sunny Blonde? Which ever you choose, they always look better cascading over the hood of a car!!!!!!!!! To get this Ocean Wave look, just blow dry your hair and use the curling wand to curl the hair in 6 sections. After, pin curl hair and get dressed. Let down, shake, and go! Gotta love Fun, Quick, Glamour!!!!
Me personally......... I'll take the car! LOL!

Locks of Love <3!!!!!!!!
I had the pleasure of cutting my clients hair for the Locks of Love Foundation the other day and I must say, starting my day like that was AMAAAAZZING! Locks of Love is a Non-profit Organization that provides Prosthetic Wigs for children who suffer from long-term hair lose through donations of hair from people like You and I! Your hair needs to be at least 10" long and cut off in a ponytail. Hair that has been colored may not be used due to the chemical process for manufacturing. Hair is such a big part of our outer image and to help build a child's self-esteem is priceless. I myself have been working on a project, I take a percentage of every extension service I provide and use it toward  Lace-front Wig Units being made to donate to Children suffering from hair lose due to Cancer Treatment. It was great to help someone else donate what they could as well! All smiles over here and a  <3 full of gratitude! Here are some pics of the process! Hope you enjoy! peace;-)

WHAT ABOUT A BUN HUN!!!!!!:-)
Coming from Baltimore, I could really appreciate this look, for we are known to sport a fifties look. We have a fair every year for it called the Hun Fest! And with the invention of the Boppit, this look was bound to walk the runway sooner than later! All you need is a head band, boppit (as seen on TV), and a vent brush. This London look will surely invade America this Winter, mark my word Hun!;-*

NOT FRIED DIED, JUST A PART TO THE SIDE!!!!!
With so many loooks to choose from this Season, we will sometimes get tired, so this easy going but Oh So Sophisticated look will do the trick! You can be at the office with your suite on, or party all night and not worry about a thang!!!!!
Courtesy of hempalternapics.com
TOOLS YOU'LL USE:
TO achieve this look all you need is a Ponytail Holder (NO RUBBER BANDS!!!!), Vent Brush, and Alterna Sheer Pomade for edges. If your hair is short, You can  achieve the look by parting your hair and using Bobby Pins to hold it down on the side kinda like a Barrett. Please be gentle when brushing hair, always start from the bottom and work your way up the hair shaft.
NOTE: A toothbrush is always a good way to lay those edges down.
Hope you Gals have fun and remember to never where a Pony eveeeeeryday! Don't want to promote breakage!
Let me know how it goes!!!!

                             M I A

Easy dose it, is the way to describe M I A's relaxed but sure fire style! She 1st introduced us to her magnetic waves with disconnected colors of Brown roots and Blonde ends. But now, with a more subtle natural look, She shows us how to mix business with effortless pleasure!

TO ACHIVE THIS LOOK:
For Natural Curly Hair, Shampoo hair and place into 4 twisted knots and allow to air dry. Using Moroccan Oil Curl serum will aid in managing curls.

For Straight Hair, the use of a waving wand is recommended. Using FlexiRods at night to keep the curl also preserves the style!
Hope you guys have fun doing it yourself or using this for inspiration @ your next visit to the Salon! peace:-)
