Hey Ladies!!!!! So, you want luxurious tresses at a reasonable cost?  You know, the extensions that last for at least 2-3 weave installs.  Well, look no further, todays Product of the Week is none other than Goldi Locs Hair!  I chose this extensions company for a few different reasons.  1st, their customer service is excellent. They are well informed of the hair extension industry and can answer most, if not all of the questions you may have about hair in general before making a purchase.  Also, the website is user friendly and makes ordering online a breeze.  Third, but not least, the hair is amazzzzziiiiinng. I've used all of the textures and am please with them all. Minimal shedding, no tangling, a thin weft, and easy to color are the personal things I look for when ordering hair for my lovely clients.  GoldiLocs has all four!!!!!!!  The most exciting thing is that 2012 is starting off with a bang for this young vibrant company.  In February, the 1st flagship hair salon and boutique will open its doors!!!! Placed in the quant and trendy Mount Vernon area of Baltimore City, this salon will be among  some of the top salons in Maryland. With the renowned Neal's Salon and Bijon Salon in walking distance, I'm sure this salon will aid in keeping the buzz about this neighborhood going! It also requires great tools!!! So for this "PRODUCT OF THE WEEK", we are taking it to the beginning. In comes the Carbon Comb. This comb is amaaaazziingg!!! It has a no ragged edges which means no snagging any hairs from your scalp. It's also formulated to evenly distribute the natural oil thru hair while diminishing frizz. The Carbon Comb also doesn't bend, so no more breaking the comb while trying to get thru your hair! I use these combs on my clients and die if I have to even think of using something else. We all know that aerosol sprays have been the culprit for destroying the ozone for quit some time now! But, here we have the solution, not only is this great for the earth but equally great for your hair. This is a alcohol free spray with a very low percentage of water as well. This decreases the effects that it has on the air when its released. I was introduced to this product by the owner of BXX Consulting firm. I used this product faithfully for a couple of months last year and was very pleased. I had the entire line from Wet Bar products (shampoo & conditioners), to Finishing products. Sooooooooo here it goes!!! Everyone always ask me what my take on the Dominican Salon is! I felt I couldn't give an opinion until I had  experienced it for myself. I proceeded to asked around for a couple of weeks, trying to find the best Salon in my area.Upon arrival the ladies were very welcoming, until they saw my hair(its natural and a little past my shoulder when curly/nappy). One of the stylist then shampooed my hair which was very relaxing But and I say BUT, when it was time to condition she used a rat-tail comb to comb the conditioner thru my swollen nappy/curly hair. Now, I try my best not to tell people how to do their job, so I sat there like a good client and took the pain. Next, she attempted to roll my hair which actually could have gone successfully if my hair was submerged with water (the water would have helped my hair stretch, and in turn wrap around the roller smoothly). After being dried, they "ROUND BRUSHED" (blow dried) my hair straight,(burning my scalp "HOT"). Then finally, she faltironed my hair. With all of that said, there are great hair stylist all over and it doesn't matter what race they are. What matters is what healthy hair practices they incorporate while servicing you. I wasn't pleased with my expiernce but thats not to say someone else, some where else hasn't found a Dominicn Salon that is into Healthy Hair! I like the rolling ritual but don't believe in roundbrushing dry hair!!!!! I just advise that you use good judgement because saving now may cost you later. If you guys know of any Great Dominican Salons please share with me. People ask me all the time but the only one I know of is Cyntias Dominican Salon (this is not where I went) in Largo Md. SO REMEMBER, NO Rat-tails, No dry rolling, and No Round Brushing Dry Hair!!!!!!!!!!!!! peace;-)

So about 3yrs. ago I worked in a Salon named Funk the Hair Cafe' and was introduced to this great product. Now anyone that knows me, knows healthy hair is what I live for. If you have healthy hair as your base then any look is possible, and in turn will be amazingly beautiful. Sebastian has come up with a heat protecting shine that will make your hair look like a mirror with out looking or being weighed down. Always extend your arm fully when applying spray products to ensure your not using to much product. (little can be better!) Apply this product to wet hair before blowing straight or defusing for curls and style. Todays Beauty Pick! Wella Brilliance Deep Conditioner

Well ladies I've been using this conditioner faithfully for the last 2 months and it's  AMAAAAAZZING!!!!! I like the fact that this product works on all hair types, from Kinky curly to Straight & fine. A small amount goes along way, you only need a tablespoon for your entire head. (no matter how long your hair) When using, apply conditioner and let sit for 3-5 mins. If you haven't treated your hair, leave on for 5-10mins (add heat). Finer hair types can also use this product as a good hydrating system just don't sit under the dryer when extending the time. I hope you ladies luv it as much as I do!!!! For a flawless set, I suggest Nairobi Setting lotion. It is very light weight so it doesn't leave any residue on the hair and it also isn't hard like a gel!
